Water

(2024)

People all throughout the world are dealing with some type of a severe water crisis.
This can happen to anyone; it is not safe to delude ourselves about the shortcomings of others and believe we cannot put ourselves in their place. For example, in the occupied state of Palestine, more than 1.5 million people are undergoing a genocide. Palestinians have historically struggled to access clean water. This leaves them destitute and isolated, imploring the world to deliver them basic humanitarian aid such as water. This forces them to fend for other objects to collect water, which is illegal and results in their death, or to use unsafe sources that are extremely salted and filthy. This genocide has had profound and critical consequences. How does anyone benefit from witnessing others suffer?
